Do you have leadership experience within project procurement and logistics? Are you able to identify and secure best practice supply chain in a project-oriented entrepreneurial company? Then you might be our new Department Manager for Procurement & Logistics.
You will Head a small and dedicated Procurement & Logistic team of 5 employees. This is a unique opportunity to join us and help shape the new company in which you will play an important role.
Ensuring high quality and contributing on a strategic level
You will be responsible for developing and executing the procurement strategy for each project, ensuring that the right resources and competences are present in order to secure high quality and professionalism in all of procurement and logistic. In close cooperation with the project teams, technical and QHSE stakeholders you will ensure timely procurement of project equipment and materials meeting project time schedule and budget.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring good cooperation with internal stakeholders across the organization as well as with external suppliers
- Developing and improving the skill set of your team, especially in relation to a commercial mindset and negotiation capabilities
- Taking the lead in negotiating and drafting high value technical complex contracts with strategic partners
- Drive and implement Supplier Relationship Management for selected categories
- Actively contribute to and drive the digitalization of the procurement function (provide assistance to the SEC team implementation of a new ERP system)
- Interfacing with colleagues in Warranty, O&M and QHSE function to ensure knowledge transfer and lessons learned
- Growing high performance teams with focus on people development and constructive feedback, while facilitating successful cross organisational collaboration
- Ensuring quality of work performed and continuously improving procedures and work method
- Handling of supplier/sub-contractor claims, bonds and invoices, as well as commercial communication with suppliers
- Proactively contribute to inter disciplinary tasks and development projects
- Executing our procurement and logistic strategy in close collaboration with the team and internal stakeholders
Robust and professional candidate with leadership experience
- You have a commercial mindset and experience in project procurement, having experience with high value complex technical contracts, preferably, for EPC projects
- You are an accomplished negotiator thriving on securing results
- You have a relevant educational background such as cand. merc. or Engineer preferably supplemented by a commercial diploma within international trade or logistics
- You have 5-7 years leadership experience from a Project Procurement function or Project Management preferably from a high technology or entrepreneurial project orientated company
- You can demonstrate mastery of spoken and written English
In addition:
- You have strong leadership skills as well as the ability to drive good collaboration across the organization as well as motivating your team
- As a person you are robust and able to cope in a professional manner with conflicting requests and demands
- You are a structured and calm person with the ability to maintain the overview in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
- You have excellent communication skills, and you can communicate at all levels of the organization and with clients and sub-suppliers

The position requires approximately 30 travel days a year. Relocation to Denmark is a job prerequisite.
